I guess I got burnt out by the time I was 15. Got my elk permit 1st time I put in for one. Honestly, my father put me in for it, he actually shot it. There is an allure to hunting big game, I just never got past actually hunting anything larger than a deer. Even then I only went to be with my father, who died two summers ago. Sorry a little sentimental about hunting and fishing. Its the only thing we did together and it was my life every summer when I was a kid. I went all over the place with him hunting and fishing.
